Join us for an enlightening workshop exploring the spiritual, physical, and legal dimensions of death. We will be joined by the erudite visiting scholar Shaykh Abdul Karim Yahya to guide us through the various aspects of this important process.

In this weekend intensive we will learn:

  • Etiquettes, manners and sunnahs of visiting the sick

  • A Janazah breakout workshop to practically learn how to wash, shroud, and bury the deceased

  • What is the Legal, Medical, and Islamic definition of death and the implications?

  • How to conduct the funeral prayer and the sunnahs and etiquettes of the graveyard

  • What is the Barzakh and what will our existence be like there?

  • Reflections and how to prepare ourselves for the inevitable
